Our PTA made up of “mums and dads” continues to do an amazing job of raising funds and organising social event for our school community.
This year the school benefitted in the following ways from the support of the PTA –
- Mathletics
- Home Readers
- iPads
- Author in residence
- Astro Turf ($375,000)
- Performing arts redevelopment (staging, lighting and sound)
The Peak School Has Talent was a highlight for the children (and parents) as a number of Year 6 children at their leavers party talked about this as an event they will always remember.
Nicci Corrado and Kate Jackson have been the driving force again this year but have been fully supported by the rest of the team throughout the year. Sadly we farewell Liselle Carey and Lara Fabiani after several years serving on the PTA. We are very grateful for their contribution and we wish them and their families all the very best in the future.
Whilst Kate Jackson is leaving us also she will be officially farewelled at the AGM which will be held in the new academic year.
