ENVIRONMENTAL AND SUSTAINABILITY ROLE AT PEAK SCHOOL

Charlene Cann has been supporting our environmental and sustainability focus at Peak School two days a week this year.  She has done a terrific job and we have achieved a great deal this year including (but not restricted to) – continuation of our successful gardening club, continuation of our parent volunteers who help in the gardens, continuation of our zero waste drive, winning the Hong Kong Flower Show and planting over 30 native trees and shrubs (grant).

Charlene has successfully won a teaching position at another ESF school next year so will be sadly leaving us at the end of this academic year.  Whilst we are delighted for Charlene it does mean we now need to find someone to fill the gap that she will leave.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the environment, can work with children, teachers and staff as well as officials from different Hong Kong departments.  We are looking for someone who is organised but also flexible and can adapt to different situations that the role experiences.  The successful applicant will ideally have experience or knowledge of environmental (growing plant life) and sustainability (recycling, reusing, reducing, composting).

We will shortly be advertising but I was hoping you may know someone who would be ideal for the position.  If you do, please contact me.
