We just do not know how long we will be offering Distance Learning for so we have decided to offer “Learning Packs” to all our families. The learning packs for each year group will look slightly different and will be based on resources that the children need in that particularly class for the foreseeable future. It will also include Library books assuming you fill in the appropriate document as shared by the Library team earlier this week.
Parents can come to school on the below days and times to pick up the relevant learning packs. All packs will be in the hall. We are having to stagger the collection to avoid groups all arriving at the same time.
Year 1 – 8.30am – 12pm on Thursday 3 Sept,
Year 2 – 12.30pm – 3.30pm on Thursday 3 Sept.,
Year 3 – 8.30am – 12pm on Friday 4 Sept,
Year 4 – 12.30pm – 3.30pm on Friday 4 Sept,
Year 5 – 8.30am – 12pm on Monday 7 Sept,
Year 6 – 12.30pm – 3.30pm on Monday 7 Sept.
Parents can come into school during the appropriate time above to pick up their pack which will be placed on a table in the hall.
Parents can also pick up the pack for the other children in their family if applicable (and or their neighbours)
Parents who enter the school will have to ensure:
They are wearing a mask
They have their temperature taken at the office before entering the school
They go straight to the hall, collect the packs and then head straight back out
They socially distance from other adults when inside the school
They appreciate that no more than 8 adults will be allowed into the hall at anyone time.
